THE BOARD DECIDED TO SELL THE LAND TO THE IVINSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IN ANTICIPATION OF THE NEED TO EXPAND THE EXISTING GUEST HOUSE USED BY THE HOSPITAL FOR FAMILY MEMBERS TO STAY DURING EXTENDED HOSPITAL STAYS. COST OF THESE ACCOMODATIONS ARE ON A SLIDING SCALE BASED ON INCOME/ AFFORDABILITY AS MOST FAMILY MEMBERS CANNOT AFFORD TO STAY IN MOTELS.
