What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Z Krewe, Inc. is a social organization dedicated to perpetuating the spirit of Mardi Gras. Through its volunteer activities and contributions, Z Krewe, Inc. also helps to support charitable organizations and provide community services within and around the Galveston, Texas area.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Perpetuating the spirit of Mardi Gras through a processional (parade) through downtown Galveston for one day during the mardi gras season. Royal court is given special recognition and beads are thrown to the crowds. Crowd numbers affected are estimated at 2,000.
