What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To advance the collective interests of affiliated AAUP collective bargaining and advocacy chapters, the principles and practices of the American Association of university professors (AAUP), and the overall interests of higher education faculty in Oregon through the promotion of excellence in higher education as an investment in oregon's future.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 We supported improvement of members' salaries and working conditions through our collective bargaining program. We brought members of collective bargaining chapters across the state together to share information and develop shared strategy and continue to convene statewide calls on a monthly basis. We developed a common legislative program. We actively moved campaigns to organize new chapters on two campuses. We developed a monthly newsletter to share information and accomplishments across the state.
