What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF SAILING, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF SEAMANSHIP AND NAVIGATION, AND TO PROVIDE A SUITABLE CLUBHOUSE, DOCKS, MOORINGS, AND OTHER NECESARY FACILITIES FOR USE OF THE MEMBERS.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 FOUNDED IN 1930, THE CLUB WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF SAILING. LOCATED AT LAKE HEFNER IN OKLAHOMA CITY, THE CLUB IS A MEMBER OF THE U.S. SAILING ASSOCIATION AND THE CENTRAL STATES ASSOCIATION AND HOSTS REGIONAL MEETINGS. THE CLUB HAS SPECIFIC PROGRAMS TO ENCOURAGE WOMEN AND YOUTH TO SAIL. MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATING IN YOUTH EVENTS.
