AS RESIDENTS OF SOUTH FLORIDA, PEOPLE IN THIS COMMUNITY COULD BE SUBJECT TO TRAUMATIC INCIDENTS AROUND WATER. OUR AQUATICS PROGRAMS HELP PREVENT DEATHS AND INJURIES. IN 2014, THE YMCA PROVIDED PROGRAMS FOR 682 PEOPLE. INFANTS THROUGH SENIORS LEARNED AQUATIC SURVIVAL SKILLS, TOOK PROGRESSIVE SWIM CLASSES, AND PARTICIPATED IN AQUATIC EXERCISE PROGRAMS.
