FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 7A, GOVERNING BODY AND MANAGEMENT:	The Board of Corporators consist of 31-50 people (currently 47). The current corporators elect new corporators. Corporators may serve until their death, resignation, they reach age 80, or they move out of Erie county. Corporators elect the Board of Trustees, who are also corporators. There are 12 Trustees who each serve a three-year term, with four new Trustees elected each year.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 8B, GOVERNING BODY AND MANAGEMENT:	Generally, the finance committee meetings are documented with minutes while most other committees do not maintain minutes. However, the chair of each committee presents to the Board of Trustees on a monthly basis. Minutes are maintained for Trustee meetings.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTIONS B, LINE 11B, POLICIES:	A draft copy of the Form 990 was provided to the Secretary for his review with selected Trustees and the Business Administrator.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15A, POLICIES:	Compensation of the General Manager is determined by the personnel committee and approved by the Board of Trustees. Their determination of compensation is based on the annual evaluation, review of prior year goals, budget restraints and review of annual salary survey information provided by a third party.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION C, LINE 19, DISCLOSURES:	The Erie Cemetery Association makes its governing documents and financial statements available to the public upon written request. The board of trustees reviews the financial statements and approves the selection of the independent audit firm. No changes in this process were made from the prior year.
