| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 | During the 2014 tax year, Eastern States Veterinary Association, Inc. d/b/a North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), an unrelated tax exempt organization, served as a management company for the Organization under a management services agreement. The services performed by NAVC include the provision of an Executive Director, Julie Legred, for the filing Organization. Ms. Legred is an employee of NAVC and performs duties for NAVC in addition to her duties as Executive Director of the filing Organization. Approximately 70% of Ms. Legred's time is spent on services performed for the filing Organization. During 2014, Ms. Legred received from NAVC reportable compensation of $54,864 and other compensation of $4,444 for services performed for NAVTA. Since the Organization and NAVC share similar exempt purposes, NAVC provided these management services for a nominal fee to the filing Organization in furtherance of NAVC's exempt purposes. |
