What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Organization primary purpose is bettering the community and area of Walnut Grove, Minnesota. The various projects described above are ways that they have in the past and plan to in the future works towards the achievement of that goal. They are always looking for ways to better the community and at the same time instill a sense of civic consciousness to those serving and being served. The Organization will fund these projects with various sources. The Organization receives membership fees from its members which go towards these projects. They also may receive contributions from other organizations to assist in funding various projects. The main source of future revenues will be proceeds from pull tabs that will be conducted under the Minnesota Lawful Gambling Boards Regulations and licensing. Distributions are made in the form of a specific project and are not made unless the project meets the exempt purpose of the Logger Organization. As such, there is usually not a significant am

28 In 2014, the Organization was able to provide 3 scholarships for local youth attending secondary education, they contributed to the area summer recreation program, held a youth fishing derby, contributed to the local school towards purchase of ipads for the elementary, a fitness center and an after school program for youth. They also donated to the local fire and ambulance departments and contributed to a family festival event.
