What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Taunton Business Improvement District, or "BID", was established in 2010 to support the revitalization and growth of the City's central business district. Membership is made up of Downtown property owners working in partnership with local residents, businesses, and nonprofit organizations in a collaborative effort to strengthen Downtown.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 BID projects and services include: infrastructure improvements, real estate development, beautification projects, maintenance services (window washing, snow removal, graffiti removal, grass mowing, and tree trimming), collaborative marketing, sidewalk and parking improvements, safety and security enhancements, and representing district interests to local government.
