| Form 990, Part III, Line 4d: Other Program Services Description | OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: The Organization promotes youth programs and interest in Lionism among youth in Missouri. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: The annual Mid Winter Forum provides a venue for Lions from around the state to come together for a day of learning, fellowship and motivation. Approximately 135 Lions attended the Forum held in February 2015. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Promoting the interest of the State of Missouri and Missouri Lionism at the Lions International Convention. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Four issues of the Missouri Lion Newsletter were produced and distributed to the approximately 9,300 Lions Club members in the State of Missouri. The 30 page newsletter serves to keep members up to date on events and activities throughout the state. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: The State Convention Committee oversees the planning of the annual state convention and the event itself. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: During each of the District's meetings, the members vote to give amounts collected during the meeting to a specific nonprofit organization. During the year ended, $142 was given to the American Cancer Society, $270 was given to Saving Sight, and $116 was given to Lions Club International Foundation. |
