ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION: THE NATIONAL HCH COUNCIL CONDUCTED THE FULLY ACCREDITED NATIONAL HEALTH CARE FOR THE HOMELESS CONFERENCE AND POLICY SYMPOSIUM IN NEW ORLEANS, LA, ATTENDED BY OVER 800 PERSONS; OVER 20 EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELDS PROVIDED CONTENT IN OVER 90 WORKSHOPS; 32 HOMELESS OR FORMERLY HOMELESS PERSONS ATTENDED, WITH SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDED BY THE NATIONAL HCH COUNCIL. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING ON HCH 101, 3 REGIONAL TRAININGS, AND PROVIDED NUMEROUS LOCAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROFESSIONALS AND CONSUMERS IN THE HCH FIELD. IT MAINTAINED A COMPREHENSIVE WEBSITE AT WWW.NHCHC.ORG.
