IT IS DISCOVERY PLACE'S POLICY THAT DISCOVERY PLACE'S EXTERNAL AUDITOR, A CERTIFIED CPA FIRM, PREPARES THE ORGANIZATION'S IRS FORM 990. ONCE PREPARED, THE IRS FORM 990 WILL BE REVIEWED BY DISCOVERY PLACE'S CONTROLLER, AND PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. ONCE REVIEWED BY STAFF, THE IRS FORM 990 WILL BE REVIEWED BY THE AUDIT COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES WILL RECEIVE A COPY OF THE IRS FORM 990 IN HARD COPY OR EMAIL (DELIVERED TO EACH TRUSTEE'S REGISTERED MAILING OR EMAIL ADDRESS) NO LESS THAN 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING WHEN THE 990 BOARD RESOLUTION WILL OCCUR.
