Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To preserve and strengthen comradeship among the members; assist worthy comrades, widows and orphans of comrades; perpetuate the memory and history of our deceased veterans; promote and maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States. Conduct programs that promote the social welfare of the community life; provide entertainment, care and assistance to hospitalized veterans and members of the Armed Forces.

	Assist veterans and family members with food, clothing, lodging and other necessary financial resources. Provide facilities for various local non-profit organizations, schools and active military organization to conduct seminars, community meetings and provide facility to entertain redeployed military personnel and family members. Sponsor Veterans Stand-Down Programs to provide health care screening for hearing loss, eyes and blood pressure check, etc. Assist local VAMC in conducting job fairs for veterans,. All these activities are conducted on regular basic.

	Conduct Patriotic programs in local schools in order to promote Americanism and various essay type programs to promote excellency and competition among students. Sponsor local community support programs to assist in collection clothing and food for the needy and homeless. Perform funeral details when called upon by veterans families and assist in preparation of VA claims. Provide facility for families repast when requested. These activities are conducted and performed on regular basic.

	Supply the necessary personnel and financial resources to entertain hospitalized veterans in local VA Medical facilities, nursing homes and senior citizens centers. Assist veterans and families with travel to medical facilities.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	In accordance with the National Bylaws and Congressional Charter the general membership has the authority to elect the governing body annually. The Post Commander has the authority to appoint any non-elected member to any position necessary to accomplish the mission of the organization.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	Any decision suggested or proposed by the board of elected officials which deviates from the standard preapproved operational procedures must be voted on by the membership body at a regular monthly or a special meeting called for that specific purpose.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	At a regular meeting prior to the filing of Form 990, all elected officials and members are given the opportunity to review the form and question any entries recorded. Any questions are thoroughly explained by the Post Quartermaster.
