PROFESSIONAL, CERTIFIED EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANTS ARE SKILLED JOB DEVELOPERS, WORKING WITH BUSINESSES TO IDENTIFY AND CUSTOMIZE OPPORTUNITIES THAT MATCH THE INDIVIDUAL'S SKILLS WITH THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF A BUSINESS IN THEIR COMMUNITY. ATWORK! PROVIDES JOB COACHING, COWORKER AND SUPERVISOR TRAINING, AND ONGOING FOLLOW UP AND SUPPORT TO BOTH THE SUPPORTED EMPLOYEE AND THE BUSINESS, ENSURING LONG TERM JOB RETENTION AND SUCCESS. PEOPLE SUPPORTED BY ATWORK! EARNED $533,152 WITH AN AVERAGE HOURLY WAGE OF $11.73. COMMUNITY ACCESS: TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES WHO ARE ELDERLY, HAVE HEALTH ISSUES SUCH AS EARLY ONSET DEMENTIA, HAVE RETIRED FROM WORK, OR ARE EXPLORING A LONGER PATHWAY TO A COMMUNITY JOB. THIS PROGRAM SUPPORTS THE PEOPLE WE SERVE TO MAKE CONNECTIONS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES, PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CLUBS, SENIOR CENTERS, AND CIVIC OPPORTUNITIES, AND DEVELOP FRIENDS AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT PAID SUPPORTS. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES EARNED $72,590 IN WAGES WORKING IN AN ATWORK! SOCIAL ENTERPRISE. COMPANY-WIDE, ATWORK! EMPLOYED 28 PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AT MINIMUM WAGE OR BETTER.
