28 DONATED TO MIDWEST PARTNERSHIP (A 501(C)(3) CORPORATION) TO HELP THEM WITH THE EXPENSES. THEY PROVIDE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO OUR COMMUNITY.THE CORPORATION OWNS THREE COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.1. DICA COMPANY RENTS THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING ON INDUSTRIAL ROAD. THEY MANUFACTURE AND SELL ENGINNEERED OUTRIGGER PADS AND CRANE MATS TO CUSTOMERS ALL OVER THE WORLD.2. COUNTRY VIEW ESTATES, INC. RENTS THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING ON EAST HIGHWAY 44. THEY USE THE SITE AS THEIR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES FOR THEIR HOME BASED HABILITATION AND ID WAIVER SERVICES TO THE MENTALLY DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY.3. SUBWAY RENTS ONE-HALF OF THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA OF GUTHRIE CENTER. THEY WERE ABLE TO BRING A HEALTHY CHOICE OF EATING TO THE COMMUNITY. A NEW START-UP COMPANY IN RENTING THE OTHER HALF OF THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA. IT IS A HUSBAND/WIFE BUSINESS. SHE IS INTRODUCING MACHINE LONG-ARM QUILTING WITH RELATED QUILTING RETAIL ITEMS. HE IS REPURPOSING WOOD AND METAL PROJECTS FROM SOMETHING OLD TO SOMETHING USABLE.THE COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS HAVE PROVIDED A PLACE FOR BUSINESSES TO START-UP, EXPAND, PROVIDE JOBS, AND PROVIDE SERVICES TO OUR COMMUNITY.DONATED TO MAIN STREET GUTHRIE CENTER.
