What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To advance the interests and purposes of the AIA within our geographical territory.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Professional society for licensed architects in 7 states and territories facilitates communication by the way of members of region and national board, serves approximately 5,100 members. Scholarships to students and region chapters of architecture facilitates student participation/attendance at national conference to enhance their knowledge of the profession. The Organization gives grants to chapters for programs that foster interaction between the architectural education community and the profession at large. A leadership summit is held annually by the Organization. Also held are design competitions including University students and members throughout the Region.

Changes to Organizing or Governing Documents To bring Region into compliance with national AIA governance, the Organization incorporated in the State of Oregon in 2014.
Form 990-EZ, Part II, Line 24, Other Assets The Restitution receivable represents the estimated amount of an employee's theft. The employee worked for the Organization who provided administrative services to the AIA NW and Pacific Region Council. The incident was reported to local law enforcement and criminal charges were filed. The trail date was in September 2014. A settlement agreement was entered into as of December 22, 2014 granting the Organization a payment of $21,771 that was paid in 2015.
