What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To advance the science of land surveying
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Over 300 members of the surveying profession rely on our publications, online information, convention and seminars to obtain information that is important in the profession. Keeping Land Surveyors updated, educated and informed allows them to better serve the public. Our quarterly magazine is sent to over 300 members every April, July, October, and January. Over 200 surveyors attended our annual meeting and convention, held this year in Boise, Idaho.Educational seminars were conducted on the local level by many of our 9 Sections throughout the state of Idaho. Online information is updated regularly to keep professionals informed of pertinent news.We provided grants in the form of scholarships to students studying to enter the profession.
