	The CLSA Journal is published twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. It contains longer articles that focus on significant issues and ideas that are relevant to building library staff as well as those in supervisory positions. Submission of articles are welcome. Advertising by library related companies is encouraged. All members receive the two annual journals as part of their membership. The CSLA newsletter is sent to members electronically. Members are notified each month by an email that contains the link to download the newsletter. The newsletter is published 10 times a year. The short articles include information, descriptions of events and highlights of issues that are timely in nature, usually local in focus, and of immediate interest to school librarians in California. The newsletter is the primary means of communication between the CSLA and its members.
