COASTAL NORTH CAROLINA VETERANS FOUNDATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO ACTIVE DUTY US MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO HAVE BEEN WOUNDED AND ARE RECOVERING IN SERVICE HOSPITALS OR WOUNDED WARRIOR BARRACKS FOR TRANSPORTATION HOME FOR HOLIDAYS AND REGULAR LEAVE. ALSO ASSISTS NEEDY VETERANS AND DEPENDENTS WITH SMALL GRANTS, E.G. PAYING A UTILITY BILL UP TO $500 MAXIMUM GRANT.
