	Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union is a voluntary cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution, incorporated under the Texas Credit Union Act in 1951 for the purpose of encouraging thrift among its members, creating a source of credit at a fair and reasonable rate of interest, and providing an opportunity for its members to use and control their financial organization in order to improve their economic well being.

For the election of board of directors new voting policies, procedures, and rules were approved by the Board so that the credit union's election process would comply with the new bylaws.
