Part X, Line 2:	Southern is a not ]for ]profit corporation which is generally exempt from federal and state income taxes under Section 501(c)(12) of the Internal Revenue Code. Southern is required to file IRS Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, and pays income tax on unrelated business income, if any, on an annual basis. Southern is a not ]for ]profit corporation which is generally exempt from federal and state income taxes under Section 501(c)(12) of the Internal Revenue Code. Southern is required to file IRS Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, and pays income tax on unrelated business income, if any, on an annual basis. Future events may arise which could affect this tax ]exempt status. Returns for the years ended December 31, 2013, 2012 and 2011 remain subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service. Southern believes that it has adequately provided for all open years by tax jurisdiction under ASC Section 740, Income Taxes.
