What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? ROCK LAKE HOUSING AUTHORITY WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING LOW-RENTAL HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN A COMMUNITY WITH A POPULATION OF FEWER THAN 500 PEOPLE.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 THE CORPORATION OWNS AND OPERATES A MULTIPLE-FAMILY HOUSING COMPLEX LOCATED IN THE CITY OF ROCKLAKE, NORTH DAKOTA, CONSISTING OF EIGHT SINGLE-BEDROOM UNITS. THE COMPLEX IS FINANCED THROUGH THE RURAL HOUSING SERVICE OF THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, WHICH ALSO PROVIDES SUBSIDIES FOR UNITS WHICH ARE RENTED AT A REDUCED RATE TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS. THE HOUSING COMPLEX WAS SOLD IN 2013, AND THE TERMINATION OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OF THE CORPORATION COMMENCED IN 2014, WITH THE DISPOSITION OF THE REMAINING ASSETS OF THE CORPORATION TO CERTAIN QUALIFYING CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY SCHEDULED FOR 2015.
