	In 2013, the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association focused economic development efforts to the attraction of location neutral businesses by improving the ED website, working towards broadband expansion for the area and research and funding for air service and the regional airport. Economic development, business advocacy and tourism efforts were all improved and streamlined through the relationship building between City, County and the local college, which was led by Chamber staff. Tourism development was encouraged and monitored through the summer visitor survey/net promoter score initiative administered by the Chamber. Event and familiarizations trips were ran by the Chamber to create awareness and attract visitors to the area.
