What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To assist sight impaired individuals.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Assisted sight impaired low income individuals by paying for or assisting in paying for eye exams and corrective lenses and surgery. During the past fiscal year, 94 individuals were assisted with the cost of eye exams at $55 each, and 97 vouchers for $50 each were given out to assist with the cost of corrective lenses. Also helped purchase glasses for 2 individuals totalling $283, and assisted with an eye surgery for $100. Also donated $1,000 to Lions International Melvin Jones Fellowship - used to assist vision impaired individuals.
