What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE SINGULAR MISSION OF THE AMERY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (AEDC) IS TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE SMART ECONOMIC AND PROSPERITY OF AMERY, WISCONSIN WITH A VISION TO DEVELOP AND ESTABLISH DIVERSE AND SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND STABILITY THROUGH STRATEGIC ALLIANCES AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ENTITIES.

28 ACTIVITIES ARE INTENDED TO INCLUDE ENCOURAGEMENT AND PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF ALL BUSINESS CONDITIONS IN AND AROUND THE CITY OF AMERY, WISCONSIN, WHICH SHALL INCLUDE INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT, TOURISM, JOB CREATION AND RETENTION, AND JOB TRAINING. TO SOLICIT BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO COME TO AMERY TO ESTABLISH NEW OPERATIONS IN OR AROUND THE CITY OF AMERY AND TO FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT AND TO ENCOURAGE THE RETENTION OF AND EXPANSION OF EXISTING, NEW AND START UP BUSINESSES IN THE AMERY AREA.
