Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The purposes of the Trust are to negotiate insurance rates with various providers, assess and collect member premiums, pay expenditures of the Trust, and invest the Trust's deposits. The Trust is not intended to function as an insurance company for its members. Rather, it is a means of combining the administration of claims and of obtaining lower insurance rates.

Part X, Line 2:	Massachusetts Bay Health Care Trust Fund follows FASB ASC 740-10, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, which clarifies the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes and prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for financial statement recognition and measurement of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. FASB ASC 740-10 did not have a material impact on the Trust's financial statements.
