CARE OFFERS A TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM THAT OFFERS WORK AND STUDY PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO GIVE THE MEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO PRACTICE AND DEMONSTRATE THE GROWTH THAT THEY ARE ACHIEVING IN THEIR LIVES.

GOOD SAMARITAN THRIFT STORE: PROVIDES A LOCATION FOR ITEMS TO BE DONATED, SOLD AND/OR GIVEN AWAY TO THOSE IN NEED. FOOD IS ALSO DISTRIBUTED AT THIS LOCATION TO THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY. THE THRIFT STORE PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF CARE TO WORK, WHICH HELPS COVER THEIR LIVING EXPENSES AND ASSISTS THEM WITH ANY OTHER FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS THEY MAY HAVE, SUCH AS PREVIOUS DEBTS OR CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS.

CONTRACT SERVICES: ONE OF THE PRIMARY COMPONENTS OF CARE'S TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM IS "WORK ETHIC" TRAINING. IN AN EFFORT TO INSTILL STRONG AND LASTING WORK ETHICS AND PROVIDE OUR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WITH VALUABLE REAL WORK EXPERIENCE, WE NOW OFFER A VARIETY OF SERVICES TO OUR DONORS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. OUR CONTRACT SERVICES ALLOW RESIDENTS TO DO A NUMBER OF JOBS FOR OUR DONORS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, INDIVIDUALS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THIS WORK IS PERFORMED IN EXCHANGE FOR DONATIONS THAT ARE USED TO HELP MEET CARE'S OPERATING COSTS, AS WELL AS THE MEN'S LIVING FEES.

LIVING PROGRAMS: THE CARE RESIDENCE IS DESIGNED TO HELP RESTORE A MAN TO A HEALTHIER SPIRITUAL AND SOCIAL STATE. SOME RESIDENTS ENTER OUR TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A STRONGER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD, WHICH IS DIRECTING THEM TO A MATURITY IN ALL OTHER ASPECTS OF THEIR LIFE. OUR TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM ALLOWS FOR MEN TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPACITIES TO PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES, ESTABLISH STABILITY, AND EVENTUAL INDEPENDENT LIVING.
