	The Plan is a defined benefit health and welfare benefit plan established January 1, 2003, to provide health, life, and long-term disability insurance benefits to active employees and dependents of such employees of MWI Veterinary Supply, Co., a wholly consolidated subsidiary of MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. (the "Company"). The Plan is subject to the provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), as amended. Assets of the Plan are invested in a trust and are held by the Company. The Human Resources Department of the Company manages the operation and administration of the Plan.
