General explanation attachment Form 990EZ, Part III - ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSETo revitalize downtown Gardnerville utilizing design, organization, promotion, and economic restructuring to develop the unique identity and preserve the historic nature of our community. FORM 990-EZ, PART III, LINE 28 - STATEMENT OF PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTSWith the intent to promote the main street part of Gardnerville Nevada, the organization put on several activities as follows: Adopt a Pot, which hangs flowering baskets from the main street light ploles; Decorative Bench, which decorates the main street benches during the holidays; Merry Main Street, which decorates the main street during the holidays; Wine Walk, where participants visit main street merchants for wine sampling and hor d'oeuvres. In addition to the above, starting in May 2011 the organization began making low interest loans to small local merchants.
