What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Organizations purpose is to promote business to the downtown Auburn business area. This is done by promotion activities in the downtown area such as cruise nights or the wine festival. Each of these activities enhances the visibility of the downtown business district and improves the business environment of the area.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The organization sponsored and promoted various events in the downtown business area of Auburn. Some of the major events included cruise night, which is held once a month during the spring and summer months attracting large crowds to the downtown area. The Auburn Wine and Food Festival is another major annual event coordinated and promoted by this organization. The organization also maintains planter boxes and hanging baskets in the downtown area to improve its appearance.
