Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 2	The Cedar Island Community is a small rural area and several of the board members and officers are husband and wife, or mother and son however, none of them are compensated.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 8b	There are no committees with authority to act on behalf of the governing body therefore no minutes are taken.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11	There is an open file at the corporate office containing the tax return. It is available for review by the Board at any time. In most cases the only Board Members that reviews the tax return before it is filed is the Treasurer, Annette Goodwin and the Fire Chief. They review it and the financial statements and calls the CPA firm who prepares the return if they have any questions. Then the Treasurer signs it and mails it to the IRS by the due date.
