    1 During 2014 ISCE supported the activities of our faculty affiliates (the ISCE fellows) at three conferences:1) A week long event in Linz Austria where the focus was on articulating the future of cybernetics and attempting to grasp cybernetics key principles in a form which could be used in the up coming decade.2) A week long event in Washington DC run by the International Society for the System Sciences which was immediately followed by 3) A second week long event in Washington DC run by the American Society for Cybernetics these two events included multiple meetings which built upon the ideas and formulations of the Linz event and resulted in the rough draft of a 21st century cybernetics outline.The cumulative effect of these meetings has been the articulation of a new dimension of scientific inquiry commonly referred to as Second Order Science. Second Order Science is the subject of roughly two dozen scientific papers and journal articles and the foundation for three upcoming books. 47,004
