What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The organizations exempt purpose is to provide a Mardi Gras street parade complete with floats and marching bands. The parade fosters community spirit, civic pride and is free to the public. In addition, a Coronation gala, honoring the king and queen, is held prior to the parade and a pre-parade celebration luncheon is held in order to promote spirit within the organization.
