What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The purpose of the fair board is to promote agriculture, horticulture and history thru a county fair. This includes opportunity for youth and adults to participate in various activities including but not limited to exhibit of livestock/animals, still exhibits made during the 12 month preceding the fair. To provide entertainment at a cost in the form of grandstand events and carnival rides and games which are both enjoyable and trustworthy to all. The broad objective of the Fair board is to plan, promote, implement safe and profitable events for the enjoyment of the community, as well as maintain the grounds, coordinate community use with other groups and promote community involvement. The fair board is designed to promote participation by local residents; Benefits and entertainment are geared primarily toward youth; the fair should promote the heritage and culture of the surrounding community, past, present and future.
