The WERS Program is a third-party, on-site verification protocol that can be used to predict water use for new and existing single-family and multifamily properties. The premise is that verified measurement and incentives will increase participation in water conservation efforts.

I mistakenly believed that our initial deadline was six months after our close of business in line with the State of Illinois (March 30, 2016) and filed an extension form 8868 by that date. As soon as I was informed that our extension had been denied due to not being received by the initial deadline I worked to complete and submit our 990EZ.
