Members earn educational credits as required by the CFP board of standards and IL Insurance. Some programs also earn credit with the Certified Financial Analyst Board and the CPA. Educational units range from 2-3 per meeting. A total of 6 CFP and 12 IL Insurance CE were available.Held 17 local council meetings covering informational topics that members need to keep current on and use in providing financial planning services to the public. Members earn educational credits as required by the CFP board of standards and IL Insurance. Some programs also earn credit with the Certified Financial Analyst Board adn the CPA. Educational units range from 1-3 per meeting. A total of 22 CFP and 18 IL Insurance CE were available.

	Held special events for the financial planning industry and members to learn about financial planning issues and to network together, including a focus on next generation planners and students interested in the financial planning industry. Also, annually hold three public awareness events in which members volunteer to provide financial education to the public. We partner with the Federal Reserve of Chicago for a program entitled Money Smart Week. Partnered with the College of DuPage to provide pro-bono advice at the senior expo. The other event is a Financial Planning Week every October.
