THERE WERE 55 BANKERS IN ATTENDANCE. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: COMMUNITY BANKERS FOR COMPLIANCE PROGRAMMIBA is pleased to sponsor the CBC Program. Presented by Young & Associates, Inc., the CBC Program is the most successful and longest running compliance training program in the country and provides up-to-date information on compliance issues and developments in bank regulations, as well as proven techniques for maintaining your in-bank compliance program. In addition, it provides a forum where those responsible for regulatory compliance can discuss issues and exchange ideas with other community banks. Membership to the CBC Program consists of Quarterly Live Regulatory Seminars, Compliance Manuals for seminar attendees, Monthly Newsletters, a Compliance Hotline and a CBC Members Only Web Page. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: MIBA EMERGING COMMUNITY BANKERSThe MIBA Emerging Community Banker (ECB) program is designed for career-aspiring community bankers in Missouri. Members should be progressive, energetic bankers who want to better themselves both personally and professionally. They should be bankers who have set their sights on a leadership role in their banks and communities; and very importantly, they should be bankers who are committed to preserving and enhancing community banking and its philosophy. ECB members will receive the monthly MIBA publication, The Show-Me Banker, which keeps you up-to-date on political issues, laws, regulations and MIBA activities, as well as products and services available through the MIBA. ECB will also have an Annual Summer Conference at Lake Ozark. In addition, ECB information is posted on our website at www.miba.net. |
