	The WLI awards scholarships to The Military College of SC. The Citadel's Financial Aid Office is responsible for selecting the recipients of the scholarships based on academic merit and financial need. Contributions are made to 501(c)(3) organizations when approved by the Board of Officers and Charity Committee. Additional grants may awarded to widows of members, children or grandchildren of members of the WLI who are enrolled in college after approval of the Board of Officers.
