What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The primary purpose is support of veterans through advice, hospital and home visits, education, and widow care. The Legion provides a facility for the legion members to gather and support one another.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The primary purpose is support of veterans through advice hospital and home visits education and widow care. This includes education events meals and providing a meeting place for the vetrans as well as work at the hospitals.

29 Support of young boys in the the community through scholarships to Boys State and support of the Boy Scouts. The organization provides use of the facilities for a Boy and Cub Scout Camporee a Fishing Rodeo and other boy scout events. The post also supports the Boy Scout Troop 505. While there are expenses in the support of these activities most of the expense is included in the facilities expesense in this year and are not specifically identified for these activities.

30 Sponsor patriotic events at the facility to encourage the community to support the veterans and develop a sense of community responsibility and patriotism. A Memorial Day event for the community is an example. The grounds are made available to the local fire fighters for water rescue training and other training events.
