IN 2015, 1,704 CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES WERE SERVED THROUGH SPORT AND RECREATION PROGRAMS IN HAITI AND BRAZIL, AND NEARLY 164 SERVICE PROVIDERS AND EMERGING LEADERS WERE TRAINED IN DEVELOPING ADAPTED SPORT AND RECREATION PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION 3 NEW ONGOING ADAPTED SPORT PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES WERE DEVELOPED AND SUSTAINED (3 IN HAITI). |
