| Form 990, Part III, Line 3 | Ceased Program - no additional funds given in 2015 - Establish ERF 501c3 status - First announcement and soft-launch of the E-Research Foundation ERF As part of the 2014 budget, AEMSA members decided to allocate a portion of their dues to fund preliminary establishment of this new foundation - AEMSA is currently sole member of ERF organization. ERF primary mission is to facilitate advancing research urgently needed to educate consumers, the industry, regulators, media and the world in general. The AEMSA 2014 budget included a line item of 15,000 to contribute towards the legal expenses to incorporate, file for 501c3 status, develop the legal and operational structure and bylaws, etc. The total legal bill to ERF was approximatly 30,000 but AEMSA had committed to a limited contribution of 15,000. |

In addition to PG, VG, and nicotine, e-liquids contain formulated flavoring components which provide the many flavors that are enjoyed by adult consumers. AEMSA has run a campaign encouraging and providing guidance to its members to have their e-liquid flavoring products tested using third-party accredited labs using appropriate and scientifically verified analytical detection limits and procedures. |

In approving compensation, the Board shall satisfy the then current requirements and procedures to take advantage of what the Internal Revenue Service and income tax regulations refer to as the rebuttable presumption that the compensation is reasonable. This standard was reviewed by AEMSAs outside legal counsel. |
