Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Bureau's mission is to generate revenue for community businesses and industries by attracting visitors. The Bureau receives room tax dollars as its primary source of income. These dollars are recycled and spent to help continue the promotion of attractions, hotels, motels, ships, diningestablishments and hospitality and other area pusinesses.

	The purpose of the Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. is to promote the City of Marshfield and the surrounding community. These promotional activities are designed to attract visitors to local attractions, stay in hotel and motels, shop, dine and generate revenue within the local Marshfield economy.The Bureau also acts as a resource of information to the greater Marshfield area. Further, the Bureau helps stimulate economic value to the Marshfield area community by sponsoring festivals and events, thus in return generating additional tourism dollars and revenue for the City of Marshfield and the surrounding communities.
