Part X : FIN48 Footnote The Bureau is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, except for income derived from unrelated business activities. The Bureau has taken the position that all income is derived from program activities and therefore, no tax liability has been recorded.
