Return Reference Explanation
Part X, Line 2: The Organization is tax-exempt as described in Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code and is generally exempt from income taxes pursuant to Section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Organization adopted the provisions of FASB ASC 740-10. The Organization records a liability for uncertain tax positions when it is probable that a loss has been incurred and the amount can be reasonably estimated. There are not any uncertain tax positions as of December 31, 2015 and 2014, and there are not any associated interest and penalties recognized in the financial statements. The Board continually evaluates expiring statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings. The tax years ended December 31, 2012 through 2015 remain subject to examination by major tax jurisdictions.
