What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The First State Chapter was established in 1979 and actively supports the mission of the ALA. Members have the opportunity to attend monthly meetings focusing on topics specific to the legal industry or to enhance skills necessary to manage successful law firms. Both formal and informal networking opportunities, such as business partner events, leadership events, socials and community outreach projects are offered throughout the year.
