What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The organization is devoted to promoting and improving business conditions of the life science and biotechnology community of North Texas. It improves collaboration and networking between members alliance organizations and industry stakeholders; supports the development cycle of life sciences innovation from ideation through commercialization; promotes access to capital and provides funding-focused education for early stage and university based technology innovations; promotes industry awareness and partnership opportunities with academic institutions, incubators, and economic development entities; creates effective mechanisms to foster the convergence of industry and science; develops programs to attract, train and retain life sciences talent in the North Texas region; provides a forum for advocacy at the regional, state and national level; and promotes and improves the reputation of North Texas as a premier life science innovation region and a desired place to work and live.

28 iC3 Life Science Conference - In September 2015 the inaugural iC3 Life Science Conference was held in the DFW area. More than 270 community representatives were in attendance at this all day event featuring presentations by the Honorable Jim Greenwood from Bio, Tom Kowalski from Texas Healthcare and Bioscience Institute and many presentations from the DFW biotech/life science community.
