28 MONTHLY NEWSLETTER SENT TO EACH MEMBER. THE $10 ANNUAL DUES ENTITLES EACH MEMBER TO A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER AND A HCNA TSHIRT. A PROJECT CALLED LOWER NINTH WARD CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT WAS ESTABLISHED TO STIMULATE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND RESTORATIVE REBUILDING, REPOPULATE, SUSTAIN NATURAL SYSTEMS, ASSIST COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AND PRESERVE RESOURCES IN NEW ORLEANS' LOWER NINTH WARD NEIGHBORHOODS. THE LOWER 9TH WARD CSED HAS BEEN INCORPORATED AS A SEPARATE 501(c)3 NONPROFIT SINCE JUNE 2009.
