THROUGH A COLLABORATION WITH UNITED ARTS, VALENCIA COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA, AND CHILDREN'S HOME SOCIETY, EVANS HIGH SCHOOL (LOCATED IN ORANGE COUNTY, FL) IS NOW PROVIDING TECHNICAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN BACK-OF-HOUSE CREATIVE FIELDS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. PARTICIPATING STUDENTS CAN GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL WITH EITHER TECHNICAL SKILLS CERTIFICATIONS OR CONTINUE ON FOR A TWO-YEAR OR FOUR-YEAR DEGREE. STUDENTS WILL HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO INTERN WITH ART, SCIENCE AND HISTORY ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS THE LOCAL THEME PARKS, CONVENTION CENTER AND OTHER CREATIVE INDUSTRY ENVIRONMENTS AND WORK WITH CREATIVES IN THEIR FIELDS TO GET FIRSTHAND JOB EXPERIENCE. |
