Changes to governing documents Part V line 34 In general the governing documents were updated to expand the association structure and clarify how it accomplishes its purpose. Below are some of the more noteworthy changes:-Mission clarified which promotes educational objectives of the local school district for the benefit not only of the employee members but also the students and the community.-The membership breadth of the executive committee was expanded.-The association president is no longer by default the Idaho Education Association Region 9 president.-Duties of officers enumerated-Creation of a representative council to facilitate and coordinate activity.-Formation of additional committees.
