What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? PROMOTE THE CREATION OF NEW WEALTH THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA BY PURSUING ALL AVENUES OF GROWTH THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMS THAT WILL PROVIDE TARGETED BUSINESS SUPPORT AND QUALITY OF LIFE AMENITIES. WE WILL ALSO PROVIDE FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF OUR PRACTITIONERS AND COLLABERATION AND COOPERATION AMONG DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS.

28 EDND HAS APPROXIMATELY 100 MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS AND OVER 200 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED IN THE ORGANIZATION. THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS TWO MEMBERSHIP CONFERENCES PER YEAR EACH WITH APPROXIMATELY 100 PARTICIPANTS, DURING WHICH TRAINING AND INFORMATION RELATED TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ISSUES ARE PRESENTED. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SENDS E-MAIL UPDATES TO ITS MEMBERS ON ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES, MEETINGS, AND TRAINING EVENTS AVAILABLE IN THE STATE AND RESOURCES THAT CAN BE ACCESSED BY DEVELOPERS.
